This is my favorite place of the roadtrip! Did I mention that I love Canadian cowboys?  The Calgary Stampede has been on my bucketlist since the beginning of this roadtrip. I love rodeos, and to get to see one done at the level that the Calgary Stampede is done at was awesome!! We watched a night show, the main rodeo, and the Royal Mounted Police.

The Stampede

We got front row seats to the Stampede looking down right on top of the chutes! The Stampede was full of bull riding, bucking broncos, to indian horse races!

Night Show

The night show was like a full fledge concert that happened every night. With singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians and illusionists.

Fair food

The food was phenomenal with 100s of places to eat fair food!! Ranging from Tanghulu (Fruit dipped in hard sugar), giant bucket of lemonade, to sushi tacos!

Church (C3)

On Sunday after a weekend at the fair we found a church to go to called C3. We try to go to a church every chance we get on the road. This is Cherie from Church – she was awesome!

After church we met up with some friends in Calgary who my dad met a few years back at Slidewaters surf wave in Chelan that live in Calgary. They had said, look us up if you ever get to Calgary, so we did! It was a fun day at the lake!
