In Key Largo, Mom, Breton, Lane, and I got open-water dive certified. Dad is already certified. We took the online course in Auberndale, FL, while Dad was in Seattle.  We did two confined water dives, in my opinion, which were awful; you could only see 3 feet ahead of you. The 2nd day, we did 2 open water dives, and Dad was able to join us!! They were beautiful. We dove in Molasses Reef, which was full of fish; we even saw a stingray and an eel. When we got back on the boat, we were told that there was a reef shark following us part of the time!! It was crystal blue water with a sandy bottom and lots of colorful fish!!

Speaking for Mom, this was a huge accomplishment since she doesnt like water!!!
